It's a project for geography, where we have to create a travel poster on the country we were assigned---i got sweden. and the poster should be really eye catching, like "it has to make ppl want to know more"

I am moving and would really like to go all out for decorating my room. I really like the vintage furniture and rock idea. I want to use the colors purple/green/and either gold or orange.I was thinking of using some of my vinyl or sleeve art to make some wall hangings. I really like the doors and the beatles and andy warhol so I was thinking of getting some posters of that. I don't know what else to do. I love art and want my room to be creative and more on the artsy side.
So any ideas on how I can make my room look vintage rock would be cool.
I need ideas on bedding/ lighting/ decor/ etc.
I have checked out urban outfitters and do like some of the stuff there but it's not really rock focused.

I want to redo my room with some DIY stuff I can do that is pretty cheap.
I want my room to be kind of whimsical hippie and bohemian i guess. I have a four poster bed that needs curtains sooo here is what i need/was thinking:
I need:
Curtains for my window and for my bed
bedspread and curtains
new wall colour + bedspread colour ideas
decor ideas!
think tie dye, dark reds, incense (i have a huge incense collection), comfort, chill (but still a bit girlie!!)
I also think that certain colours can influence your mood so maybe take that into account if you know anything about that stuff?
i was thinking door beads, tie dye curtains for bed, band posters for one wall, cork board on another wall etc.
any ideas?
I love art and music, i wanted door beads and maybe wanted to like decorate my shelf. i was going to paint it myself since I love art.

I need websites or ideas for posters, room decor, etc. from popular things from the 1950s-90s. Also, for great "recycling" ideas for wall art and decoration. [ex. put an old, non-working video camera and pictures on a shelf] Thank you.:)
